The Legacy Sharing program is an on-site, story-therapy activity designed for groups or one-on-ones in Senior Living Communities. The curriculum is appropriate for assisted living, independent living or memory care, and it includes a library of games and tools with publishing of Keepsake Storybooks available.

According to Geriatrics & Gerontology International (June 2007), reminiscence programs enhance the remaining capacity and the adaptation to a daily life in elderly people with Alzheimer’s disease and vascular dementia–especially if sustained to maintain the effect over time.

Legacy Sharing helps participants experience positive social interaction. The brain-stimulating activity improves emotional satisfaction, health and quality of life. The story therapy activities enhance communication with family and caregivers and set the stage for creating a personal legacy for individuals and their loved ones.

Affordable programs are licensed with full support from the One Legacy Team. To learn more about how our Legacy Sharing Program can benefit your community, please contact One Legacy.
